Mindframe training: Communicating about suicide, mental health concerns, and alcohol and other drug concerns.

The WA Primary Health Alliance and Everymind invite you to take part in this free one-hour session designed to support safe and non-stigmatising communication about suicide, mental health concerns and alcohol and other drug concerns.
The training provides practical and evidence-based support to people communicating about these themes.
The session is appropriate for individuals and organisations who have a role to play in suicide prevention, intervention and postvention within your community.
We encourage the following to attend:
- Primary Health Network staff
- Local Health District staff
- Emergency responders (police, ambulance, SES)
- Crisis support services
- Mental health organisations
- Local council representatives or members of parliament
- Other key community decision makers
- Community members with lived and living experience
- Community spokespeople
This Mindframe training session will include:
- A brief overview of the Mindframe program
- The guidelines in-depth
- Examples of problematic and preferred communication
- Information about help-seeking and self-care
- Opportunity for a Q&A with Everymind team members about Mindframe.
