Scam Awareness Presentation

Free Community Information Session 20th May

Scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated, personalised, and harder to detect, impacting Australians of all ages and backgrounds. Consumer Protection WA is delivering a free community presentation to help people better understand current scam trends, protect themselves online, and know what to do if they have been targeted.

Co-hosted by the Shire of Augusta Margaret River and the Augusta Community Resource Centre, this practical and informative session will cover:

• How to identify scams
• Ways to protect yourself online and over the phone
• What to do if you have been scammed
• Current scam trends impacting Australians
• Time for community questions and discussion

Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be provided.
