SOLD OUT – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) – MARGARET RIVER (June 4 & 5)

This two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop is for anyone aged 18 or older, regardless of prior experience or training, who are interested in learning suicide first-aid skills to become an ASIST-trained caregiver. Over the two-day course, you will develop the comfort, knowledge, and skills to confidently and competently intervene to support someone at risk of suicide.
Delivered in five sections, participants will progressively learn the skills to identify risk, to connect sensitively with someone experiencing suicidal thoughts and/or behaviours, and to effectively support them to keep safe, utilising your own skills as well as available resources and services.
This training has been generously funded by WA Primary Health Alliance.

Please arrive at 8.45am so you have time to register, etc. before a 9am start.

Morning tea, lunch and refreshments are provided. If you have specific dietary requirements we will endeavour to cater for your needs, however this isn’t always possible.
